Acute Care Services is here to assist via telephone or in-person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for individuals experiencing a mental health emergency. All staff are fully trained in crisis intervention and can assist in averting a mental health emergency, de-escalating a situation, and will offer community-based options that may help to prevent an inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. They also offer suicide risk assessments, crisis counseling, and crisis planning to assist with short- and long-term needs.
