Pupil Services & Special Education
Welcome to the Department of Pupil Services. Whether you are one of the many families new to our district or you've been with us for many years, your children’s success is our priority. Our department works closely with our building principals to coordinate special education services, including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, specially designed physical education, deaf & hard of hearing services, vision services, as well as cross-categorical specially designed instruction when a student's special education team determines a need for such services. In addition, we help to coordinate the services of the school psychologists, school social workers, school counselors, district nurse, and teachers for English Language Learning students throughout the district. Through this continuum of student services provided, we pursue our mission to Empower and Inspire Every Student to Success.
Our Services
The Pupil Services department oversees a wide variety of programs to ensure that all students receive the support needed to reach their full academic potential. If you have any questions about the services we provide for students with disabilities, language needs, or other individual needs, please feel free to reach out.
