Book Fair

Please join us for the Fall County Line PTA Scholastic Book Fair!

Our PTA does not use book fairs as a fundraiser. Instead, a 20% discount will be offered in order to provide  more books to our students and classrooms.
Scholastic’s e-wallet provides an easy payment option for students during the book fair. (See our online fair at bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/cl to set it up.)

We will also promote All For Books by offering the option to round up at the registers and via a coin collection jar. This will allow us to purchase more books for County Line’s classrooms at a discount from our fair and Scholastic will match our All For Books earnings to donate to the national charity. The State of Wisconsin now requires sales tax to be charged on book fairs. Our 20% discount will help to offset the tax but setting up an e-wallet is another way to ensure your student has enough funds available to make purchases. Students will have the opportunity to fill out a wish list during their classroom visit and you can return to the fair together for family shopping during parent/teacher conferences on Wednesday from 3:30 to 7:30 pm.

We are asking families to:
• Spend some time with your child looking at the attached book list. Please remember that this is only a preview of what will be available at the fair.
• Get involved and read together. Studies show that students who read excel in school as well as life.
Reports also reveal that when parents are involved with their child’s education, students earn better grades and have a more positive attitude about school. What better way to connect with your child in these two areas than at a Scholastic book fair! Partner with us in encouraging the joy of reading while spending time with your child at school.
• Your child’s classroom shopping time is listed on the back of this sheet. You are welcome to shop with your child’s class during this time.
• Take a look at our Classroom Wish List display while visiting the book fair. We are helping our teachers build their classroom libraries. You can help by purchasing and donating books to your child’s classroom or by rounding up at the registers. Thank you!

We appreciate your dedication to creating lifelong readers.
See you at our book fair!
