Winter weather is here! Below are a few reminders for students.
When entering the building:
- Stomp off boots and brush off snow before entering the building
- Hang up wet snow pants
- Tuck boots under bench
- Lay out wet gloves, hats, and scarves on bench/shelf
At recess:
- Boots and snow pants are required to go on the snow
- Snow stays on the ground - building with it is fine. You can add to a fort/snowman, but you can’t take away.
- Playing on the snow mounds is allowed but will be closed if deemed too icy by staff
- Icy areas on the playground, woodchips, etc. will be coned off
