24-25 Season

The PAC is excited to announce its line up for the 24-25 season in Germantown!

There are events for all ages and interests planned. Tickets and information for all our events are available on the PAC website: GSDWI.ORG/PAC

This year we are thrilled to present four PAC Community Series events, which are aimed at bringing professional entertainment to Germantown. The series kicks off with the Germantown World Culture Fest. This is the second multicultural festival hosted at the PAC, and we are hoping to make it an annual tradition. This year we will be adding food trucks and staged performances to the festivities. Groups interested in participating can sign up on the event info page. In January, join us for Piano Men: Billy Joel & Elton John. This concert will feature and celebrate the new Yamaha Grand Piano that was purchased at the end of the previous school year. In February, the 1st Brigade Band will hold a workshop with area band students, to culminate in an evening performance featuring the ensemble. In March, the area band Raised on Radio will visit the PAC for an evening tribute concert to Journey and Bon Jovi.

Dramatic Impact, the high school drama program, will be hosting one play and two musicals this year. Radium Girls is a historical drama and will highlight the struggles of women in the early 20th century. In February, don't miss the musical SIX: Teen Edition. This new musical features six of the most talented female singers in Germantown. Staged as a pop concert, SIX presents the stories of the ex-wives of king Henry the VIII as they battle it out for who had it the worst. In spring Dramatic Impact hosts its final musical, the 80s classic, Footloose. This musical features many of your favorite tunes from the movie and is sure to put a spring in your step.

Families with young children have several opportunities this season. In December, Dramatic Impact will be hosting a fundraiser event with the magician Glen Gerard. Glen is a Germantown native, but tours his talents all over the country. In February, stop by to see Kennedy Middle School perform Shrek The Musical Jr. This show takes directly after the DreamWorks movie all have come to know and love. Don't forget to check our event calendar in January and July for more Family Film Fridays. These free movies are presented on select Friday evenings are are a great way for young children to be introduced to a movie theatre setting. And mark your calendars for our summer drama camps, which will take place starting July 7th. Older students will be able to participate in Mean Girls Jr. The show title for our younger camp is yet to be published, but camp will begin on July 14th for ages 8-11.

Another special event to plan for is the annual Choir Cabaret. This year's theme is Retro Remix! This fundraiser supports the GHS choirs and brings together students for various choir, small ensemble, and solo performances. The silent auction items are very impressive and also bring in significant support for the choirs. This event always has amazing food, so make sure to purchase a Full Event ticket to indulge in that as well. In May, join us in the PAC lobby for the AP Art and Design Showcase. This is a free event to showcase the student's artistic abilities. (There are also often snacks!)

Each season, over twenty community groups rent the facility to host their own performances as well. The highlighted events this year include two musicals hosted by Christian Youth Theatre Milwaukee. They will be showcasing The Little Mermaid and Aladdin Jr. These are large cast productions with children from all over the Milwaukee area. In November, North Shore Dance returns for its annual performances of the Nutcracker. Their performances feature gorgeous costumes, special effects, and professional quality ballet. And later in December, come back for the Germantown Community Band Holiday Concert. This concert features all Germantown community band members and will be under the new direction of Benjamin Perthel. A new group this year, Bella Folk Collective, will be hosting an Easter musical of their own design called "The Passion Prophecies". This musical has become increasingly popular and this will be the first time it will be performed on a full theatrical stage.

This year is sure to be as eventful as any other! Please like and share our events on Facebook and be sure to pick up your tickets as early as possible. Helping spread the word is the best way to make sure we can continue hosting amazing events at the Germantown PAC.
