Please join us for Germantown School District's Child Development Day. The next one will be on March 17th. All Child Development Days take place at 9:30am in the Early Childhood classroom at Rockfield Elementary School.
The Purpose of Child Development Day:
To offer a developmental screening to confirm the progress of children and to possibly identify children who may show a need for follow-up assessment.
To further educate families about child development and activities to promote early learning.
To promote awareness of programs and services in the community that can assist families.
Child Development Day Information:
After registering, you will be mailed additional paperwork about your child to be completed prior to your appointment. Children will be observed during free play and during structured play-based activities . During this time, school staff will screen for speech/language and other developmental milestones. Parents will have time to interact with one another and with educators. We will provide information about community resources, ideas for activities to do with young children, and information on development.
