Did you hear? The County Line Marathon was pushed back a week! It now runs from 10/4 to 10/15. Lace-up your sneakers! We invite all students to run or walk laps on the County Line field during lunch recess each day. Students can participate for anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes daily to earn credit towards a half marathon (150 minutes total across fall and spring) or full marathon (300 total minutes). There will be prizes and recognition for half and full marathon finishers, and we look to sparking some fun competition between classes for prizes as well! The CL 5th graders enjoyed an absolutely beautiful day on September 17th at the Buckskinner Encampment in Hartford. The students learned about what early life was like for the Early American Fur Traders.
